If your dog usually eats in the morning, go with a light snack or half meal before their appointment. For pups prone to motion sickness, it’s best to skip the breakfast buffet altogether. There are some over-the-counter remedies that can help with car sickness—please consult your pet’s personal physician (aka your vet) for advice on what's red-carpet approved.
🚶♂️ Potty Break Before the Paparazzi
A quick bathroom break when you arrive is a must! Some pets get excited, nervous, or just have that “I’m not at home” feeling—and that can lead to accidents. Trust us, your pet will thank you (and so will we!).

If your pet isn’t a fan of paw-dicures or blowouts, natural calming aids like Rescue Remedy, B-vitamin treats, or a snug Thundershirt can work wonders. Chatting about grooming preferences, your pet’s past experiences, or any behavioral notes ahead of time helps us roll out the red carpet in the right way. When it’s time for drop-off, make it quick, smooth, and confident. A swift hand-off tells your pup: “You’ve got this, superstar! I’ll be back for your grand finale!”
🎥 Don’t Steal the Spotlight
If you arrive early and see your pet mid-glam, please resist the urge to call out, wave, or make eye contact. Even a quick “Hey buddy!” can be like yelling “Cut!” in the middle of a scene. It can make it hard to finish the groom safely—our tools are sharp and precision is key. Sit tight in the lobby or relax outside—we’ll come get you when your VIP is picture-perfect.
